Japan Kazakhstan Friendship & Cooperation Forum was held in Almaty Rixos Hotel, Kazakhstan on 25th June of 2017. Japan Central Asia Friendship Association, The Nippon Foundation and Japanese Embassy in Kazakhstan organized joint forum for distinguished guests who are member of honourable community in Kazakhstan.
After the Opening speech of H.E. Mr. Ichiro Kawabata, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Kazakhstsan; Ms. Kyoko Vrboski, Chairperson, Japan Central Asia Friendship Association; Mr. Nurlan Dulatbekov, Member of Mazhilis, Mr. Dimitriy Voyakin, Secretary General to National Committee on World Heritage of the RK. Expert at UNESCO, Institute of Archeology named after Margulan; Ms. Nazigul Shaimardanova, Researcher, Institute of Oriental Studies named after Suleimenov; Ms. Railya Sarzhanova, Director, Japanese Language Teacher Association; Mr. Takashi Ninomiya, Japanese teacher in Al Farabi Kazakh National University, Tsukuba University; Ms. Zhanar Orazgaliyeva, Director, Kazakhstan-Japan Center for Human Development; Ms. Larissa Tyan, Co-founder, Ichikawa Japanese Language School / Yaponskiy Dom; and Mr. Yerlan Akhapov, Assistant Professor at Far East Studies Department, Kazakh National University made presentations about various topics related with Japan and Kazakhstan friendship and cooperation.
Apart from these guests of honor, some JACAFA alumni participated in the program.
